Natural Edge Albizia Crotch Bowl

95.00

This bowl is made from a local Albizia tree (Albizia Julibrissin), also known as Persian Silk Tree.  The wood is taken from half of a crotch, a section of the tree where one branch diverges into two branches, giving the bowl three wings instead of the usual two wings found on natural edge bowls.  The wood between the two diverging branches has highly figured grain referred to as feather figure, and the style of this bowl shows off that bit of figure.
